BCG final round interview in a week. Any tips on what to expect in a partner level conversation?
- how is it different than the round 1 experience?
- how important is the casing component? I'm doing pretty well, but not perfect. Friends have been eating me 8/10, with the need to improve structure and be more top down in my communication. I'm wondering what I can do to improve that in a week and if that will be a deal breaker on interview day?

I was interviewed at EY UK on 7th Sep. It was quite smooth. Since then I haven't heard anything back from them though interviewer claimed SLA to get back with outcome of interview is 48 hours. On portal it still says I'm in hiring team phase. It was level 1 interview.
Should I take this delay as rejection?

M&A tax manager 1 salary in NYC ?
Bain & Company Got dinged after a final round AC interview with Bain & Company as an experienced hire with 1 YOE. Currently at $75k base salary and on average work 30-40 hours a week.
Considering $15-25k increase in salary, but double the number of work hours, is it worth reapplying to Bain next year or better to wait to apply until after business school?

What about impact stats? Like how a process you made increased efficiency by x%, or how a project you took over went from y% over budget to on budget in z# of weeks? I honestly don’t track my campaign results, which is probably not great, but I do track my team/project efficiency on the CV.
You mean project/team efficiency? I pinpoint something that’s taking too long to do, work out a shortcut, process, or tool change to address it, implement it, then estimate the result. 50% less time spent? 2 hours less per week? We do it all the time- just start doing it deliberately and tracking it.
I’ve never looked for or asked for “impact” stats when interviewing for my team. How could I ever possibly validate them? I have also never presented stats on my resume. Who is asking you for that? What industry? Now asking someone about their experience and proficiency in developing impact metrics is a whole other point.
Doesn't help that client budgets have decreased significantly over the past few years. We were consistently managing $1MM projects and now might only oversee $400K projects (often with expectations of similar outputs). This means getting creative on the agency side, managing more lean teams or generating lower margins for our agency. Clients also have less $ to pay for post-delivery ad ons etc. so trying to show how you significatly grew the account is tricky.
Agency folks get it but good lucky trying to show professional progress with anyone outside those worlds before you get into an interview is a nightmare.
Curious how folks are marketing themselves these days.

If you could compress this thought on your resume and when you interview it might set you apart. Especially since most companies are dealing with limited scopes of work etc.
