Bain & Company Atlanta people! I’m in the process of applying for MBA programs and wanted to ask what recruiting is like for MBB from Emorys program? Is there a reasonable shot at getting into the Atlanta office from Emory, or are those openings primarily filled by other schools (Duke, UVA, etc.)

Harassment on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity is prohibited under federal law, so if your colleague's teasing has gone beyond what you consider acceptable, then I would urge you to speak up and make a formal complaint about it.
Look at section 1029 of the government code. This section is for decertification of CA police officers. One section is for bias. This may fall in that category. Beat of luck.
It definitely could. If he's "teasing" you and it clearly makes you uncomfortable, then it's harassment and you can report him. I'm not sure he'll lose his job but maybe he'll be suspended or something.
What do you mean by teasing? Is it like friendly or is he bullying you for being a lesbian woman? Because the context is crucial in order to say what the damage being done is.
Fortunately for you, this type of behavior is not tolerated in the police force. As a fellow officer, it is very important for us to be professional and respect each other’s privacy and beliefs. Not only does it create a hostile work environment that isn't conductive to productivity, but it can also be illegal.
Are you guys friendly with one another or are you not friends? As long as no malicious intent was intended and your coworker corrects his behavior, he should not lose his job.
If he loses his job over his own behavior, that would be his choice and not yours. You have every right to protect yourself (and any one else he might be doing this to) if that's what you decide.
