common staff one mistakes?
Advice needed - boyfriend has almost 3.5 years of finance experience at a bank. Interviewed for PwC valuation senior associate and now recruiter says they want to hire him at “experienced associate” because he has no valuation experience. Is this too big of a step backwards in career? Should he push back and see if it gets him anywhere? If he does accept Associate, is it reasonable to ask for written, definitive timeline (1 year?) for promo to Senior upon meeting standards? Help!

If I was a manager then I would prefer someone let me know upfront that something is going on so that I have expectations. Not saying I would want or need to hear every detail, but just a general idea. Might want to bring it up as soon as possible, say my bad for not saying something sooner, and then maybe provide some ideas on how you can get things done quicker or ask them for some advice
Thank you
I flat out cried to my manager last week and told her what was going on. Not as an excuse but it was more of a geesh have a little compassion lady. She did but still was uncomfortable now i feel like im looked at with pity. Whatever 🙄
Thank you i think that is what i am going to do
