Better to be overdressed than underdressed. Just throw a tie on for a few hours. Worst case you’ll both have a laugh that you wore a tie but say something like “I’ve missed getting dressed up and this seemed like a perfect opportunity!” They’ll love it. Best of luck.

Suit always - if commented on, just say "figured I'd wear what I would if I was going to meet you in person"

Suit up 👨‍💼 won't hurt and you'll look sexy 😉

3 to 1 to suit up. Thanks for the feedback :)

Suit for sure. You gotta dress for the occasion. Better to be overdressed than under dressed. As C2 said you can always just say your wearing what you would wear if you were meeting in person

Whats your read on the company culture? What did they wear during the Skype interviews?

Ok, all the best with the interview!

So long as their regular attire isn't t-shirt, shorts and flip-flops, a suit can't hurt. Since it's virtual I'd imagine just a shirt and tie would work too.

Also, if they can't see below the waist, doesnt matter what you are wearing below it.

Suit. If they look casual on the call ask if you can take off your jacket.

Bought my first option contract a few weeks back (CRM $230c 4/9, $3.00) Kind of a shadow trade from discussions here but I generally thought there was hope with crm being back to price level pre slack acquisition news. Anyways I’m bleeding a bit, currently at $1.09. Can I get opinions on best way to exit with minimal losses here? HODL?

I am doing UXR interviews, and although I have read that a background in design is not required for UXR, I have been asked a few times now what my design experience is, and if I know how to use design apps.

I have ample research experience and a solid understanding of product development cycles, which I think should be enough to land me a UXR role, but is it? I would love to hear from folk whether it’d be worth taking a few design courses!

We are a family of 4- husband, myself and 2 boys. We flew to Miami and came back. Other than being in flight and at the airport where we double masked, we were all by ourselves avoiding crowded places. Once back, my son got a cold, cough and slight fever too. We went to urgent care and they took a covid test, awaiting results. Now I’m super anxious and scared and feel stupid for exposing my kids. Anyone else in the same position ? Looking for positive vibes.

I’m tracking down an article that’s been on my mind but I can’t find it for the life of me. It’s about domestic expectations of men and women, and how often men will express eagerness for domestic and work equality, but stop short of actually doing more domestic work. Domestic things still need to get done, and women fill that gap. It’s a lot of small things, but when you zoom out the collective impact shows massive impact. Death by 1000 paper cuts.
Does anyone know this article?? Where is it??

In the industry your game is long (don’t think about growth every 2 years, play the long game) cont
