How far are you from Mexico?
You should return it, and if asked, tell them your company has damage waiver included. That means the rental company eats the cost of the repair. If it's minor, you'll probably get away with it, honestly. (Sauce: spent four years with Enterprise)
You should be fine. Most companies have damage indemnity as part of the rental contract. ACN does, I bet EY does too.
It's fully covered through the EY reservation and don't sweat . Just turn in the vehicle and if anyone ask be honest. Trying to make repairs or making shit up will just lead to more problems
Yes, if you are lucky hey won't notice it ⛷
One time a coworker backed into one of those short concrete pillars at the gas station. Huge white scrape and dent 10 inches square in a black car. Hertz guys gave zero fucks when we returned it, didn't even mention it to us

Someone hit my rental when it was parked in a parking lot. You fill out a form when returning the rental and EY should cover it. Someone from the firm reached out weeks later asking some clarifying questions but it wasn't a big deal. Just responded and it was fine.
As long as you used your corporate credit card and firm discount code for the rental then there is nothing to do or worry about. I used to work for EY and got a rental car with less than 20 miles on it, so there was no way I could blame it on the fact that it may have been there before. I scrap d up the entire side in a parking garage and there was no way to hide it. No big deal, never got another call or question. I had a coworker who literally drove out of the Avis lot and got in an accident with the Hertz bus, he just drove back in and got another car after dealing with the police paperwork.
Fine grain sandpaper gets those marks right out
I am sure the co insurance covers it.
@KPMG: not uncommon. At ERAC, we knew when we scanned the VIN if it was corporate with waiver included. If so, we didn't even bother unless we thought there was a chance someone hit them (broken tail lights, etc) so we could subrogate and collect on that other driver.
I had a car get totally destroyed by a hailstorm in Dallas once. Huge dents everywhere, broken glass and water all over interior. Called and had them tow it away, got an email from hertz a week later asking to confirm rental was for a business trip and that was the end of it
There is also car compound - it's like a buffer/paint combo that rubs out most scratches. Have always leased my cars...this comes in quite handy (thanks dad!)
I had minor/major damage done to 5+ rentals over the course of my career (honestly too many to remember), never heard anything from anyone - you'll be fine returning it, just get better at driving cars you're not used to... it took me a while
LMFAO @A4's coworker!!!
EY covers all damage... No need to sweat
No insurance?
How big are these scrapes? Anything longer than a the length of a credit card they may say something but if it ain't that bad then I wouldn't worry about it.
@OP: If you want, you can email/text me pics and I'll give you my professional ex rental manager opinion if you want
