Applying to roles within the same federal agency. I know you need one year within the probationary period, but can I apply to a higher GS level? For example, if I'm GS 9, receive a promotion to GS 11 at the end of probation, would i be able to apply to GS 13 roles if I'm qualified? Anyone have slow months where you burn through a lot of your allotted pro bono/professional development hours to keep hitting minimum daily hours? The past few weeks have been like this for me. Should I be concerned (I.e., will this reflect poorly on me, come review time? Will I have dug myself too much of a hole if I keep burning my non-billable hours?) I’ve been asking partners if I can assist in any projects so I can fill my plate, but I’ve only gotten small (4-6 hour) tasks handed my way.

Had my 2nd round with BCG this morning for experienced hire and don’t feel like the cases were perfect, have to wait until M/Tu to hear. Likelihood of getting the offer without absolutely crushing the cases? Felt like I did a great job walking interviewers through my logic but I feel like it could have been better.

We use Deloitte India for a number of parts of our delivery. Recently I have seen some unethical practices that violate labor laws and do not align with Deloitte principles.
