Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!
Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.

While I usually agree with the more money route, I would also be conscious of the type of client(s) you'd be under - are they likely to continue/keep spending if SHTF with economy? Just uncertain times now and it will be even more expensive if you end up getting let go!
Outsider perspective but if the difference between same job and promotion is 9k, you’re probably getting rinsed by the new agency offer.
Rinsed? I don't know that lingo but it sounds terrible
I’d go with the higher offer and promotion. Companies fire at will wo worrying about burning bridges. Do what’s best for you!

Backing out of signed offers happens so much right now and though it stings on the offer-given side, it's not a bridge-burner like it used to be.
