I’ve suffered from workaholism for a long time. So as we were the first to get hit with COVID in NY, we are seeing declines in numbers now. Travelers are cut short of their contract, our hours are getting cut, and staffs are laid off. Got a call yesterday from HR that now staffs need to file for unemployment to compensate for the lost hours. We risked our lives for this fight, now they are letting us go. Shit’s fucked.
