I don’t have any friends at either company so I was curious if anyone has experience and can shed some light on culture/ work life balance to help me make a decision? Thanks for the help guys!

I changed careers into tech sales at 30, and while I felt I was late entering entry-level roles (Cold-calling alongside new college grads), I stayed open minded, optimistic and kept re-inventing myself through learning so that my age “wouldn’t show”.
I’m almost 40 now, have been a top performing account exec for 8 years at some of the most sought after companies in the world and make an average of $250k/year.
I don’t know your situation, but I can honestly say, it’s never too late
I think you should still be able to show how much you learned from your job. Even if it didnt work out you can still use it as a point of reference for what you have learned. It can even be used as a conversation guid into why you could do good in what you want. You should be ale to talk about all the things you leanred on what to do and what not to do. And if they ask why it didn't work well be honest in what sounds best. It never hurts to try for those jobs that require more experience. Dont sell your self short. Half the time in getting a sales job is selling your self. If you truly cant find anything and want to be in sales and intro is the only your option at that point then set a goal to move your self to where you want to be. Sometimes also just getting your foot through the door is what you need. And then show your intrest in moving up and why youre worth that move. I hope this is helpful to you and good luck!
