It equates to SC.. not sure if Saleforce expertise results in a variation in pay (I.e. if there is a premium since you have Salesforce expertise). But the range for a 1st year SC is between (115- 160) includes folks from target school MBA’s etc. I know the range is large but pay depends on practice
Negotiate now! Recruiters are hardwired to show you roses. It's not all roses. And don't believe them if they say there is a fast track to promotion.
Bigger issue imo is that they are pushing you towards spec senior instead of spec master. Be firm in this and it will put you in the right position for your experience and also potentially bring your salary to an acceptable range.
@D9 - depends on how many years of architecture experience or team management experience OP has. 8 years needs a breakdown. If someone has total 8 years of experience and they are claiming it all as team manegement or architecture experience, they are clearly embellishing. Plus Deloitte has a very flat hierarchy so they are very hesitant in giving any Manager and above roles to someone who doesn’t have significant credentials.

OP, is the title specialist senior? Are you actually an arch, and can you do config, LWC, and Apex? If so, I'd expect you to be somewhere in the 140-155 range. Don't forget to factor in bonus to TC.

So that would bump you to a different career level (Manager or Specialist Master). That's too high for specialist senior (it's into the Senior Manager band, which is two levels up).
Well if you are expecting 200k of course they won’t be met. If you share what’s the range being offered, you would get more actionable insights.

OP said 180 so....
Lots of Deloitte is lowballing me posts popping up recently.
I was told at mid-year adjustments that I was just under mid of range but technically low. I received an 8% increase which I think was the high end of my OP. Mentioned I did t like where I was in band so we’ll see what happens at year end.
At SC level, getting 180 base is a stretch. Seasoned Architect should be at Specialist Master at least. How many years of Arch experience do you have and what certs?
In the late stages of interviewing for this role, curious to hear.
I think there’s room for negotiation.

Oh I shoulda asked...commercial or GPS? You MIGHT be able to get your $ demand in commercial. GPS I don't think so....way too high.
