I want to get a new job but I’m worried about this potential looming recession. For context I’m 24, been with my current firm for 3 years straight from undergrad. I know I have good job security, so in the event of a recession I think it’d be okay but I don’t really enjoy my job, been wanting something new for a little while now and frankly, just want to make some more money! Is it dumb to jump now with the economic uncertainty or since really no one knows what’s gonna happen should I jump?

Need help on how I transition my career from Audit to Management Consultancy. I have only completed BCom and ACCA (UK Chartered Accountant) and have worked for over 2 years at EY.

My book is just spec and side projects. I’m trying to get a new junior-to-mid role because I’ve gotten nothing good produced where I’m at, and I have zero faith this will change if I stick around.

I’m asked for work samples from recruiters and CDs even though I make clear that what I’ve done doesn’t reflect who I am as a creative. Think CRM/DM/B2B stuff. They insist on it, and I never hear back afterwards.
