Jackie is developing her yoga practice

Helo everyone, I had an interview scheduled with Cognizant on last week of Jan 2022 but due to technical error in Verification code I couldn't join interview lobby. I reported the same to the HR and I was told the interview will be rescheduled. Now there's no update from the HR. Could you please guide me how can I proceed or any email address to which I can inform to take the rescheduling process further.
Thanks in advance

It’s Seattle not Alaska. You’ll be okay. The advice above is good. Just wait until you get here, look around and see what other people wear. Rain here is not like LA. LA, when it rains, gets more rain in an hour than Seattle does in a month. I rarely use an umbrella. Any light coat will do 98% of the time.
HEHEHE this made me laugh because it is so true. I have several friends who have moved here from other places and they always act like they are going to die with the weather here. Its definitely not Alaska folks.
For the summer? Same shit you wore in LA. For the fall long sleeve version of all the same stuff you wore + a wind breaker and maybe some shoes that you can wear in the rain (not white shoes). For the winter learn how to layer all the stuff you wore + Christmas sweater + ski jacket for when you go skiing
A stylish but warm puffer is the way to go. Check out Everlane’s or uniqlo
I have YET to need a winter jacket out here in the 8 years I’ve lived in the area. Y’all need to toughen UP! It’s NOT that cold out here!
Honestly, wait until you get here. Our thrift store scene is incredible; I got a wool trench for like $20. But generally, a rain jacket and waterproof boots, a puffer, warm coat—things you can layer. It’s also worth noting Seattle is way more casual (and less trend forward) than LA, people here really embrace their own style. Sometimes that style is granola lumberjack 😜
Our weather is 5-10 degrees cooler than SF. If you're looking for things to buy and wear, it's worth buying a few different types of jackets and coats from REI. That way you have a year to return them if the coat/jacket type doesn't work out
I have yet to wear a winter coat around here and I’ve been here for 8 years.
Granted, I spent most of my life in the Midwest and the Northeast, so I dealt with brutal wind chill temperatures in the former and lots of snow and actual cold temperatures in the latter. You know, REAL winters as opposed to what happens here in Seattle.
It gives me a much different perspective when it comes to what is actually cold, and so people that know me here know they’re in for some mild teasing. 😁
That being said, layers are probably going to be your best friend. That has been my experience. In the fall/winter/spring months, I’m usually comfortable in a hoodie, jeans or yoga pants, and sneakers or Crocs (with plantar fasciitis, my options are limited!).
Hope that helps!
The only place I wore a winter jacket since 2016 has been when visiting people on my travels to the Northeast.
I love wearing merino wool layers under like knitted sweater vests for example during the winter months. Also, it’s always a good idea to purchase a light and neutral colored rain jacket that you’ll be able to put on over everything. As a California transplant myself, embracing more hiking/outdoor based casual wear too is what I’ve found best for keeping warm and being prepared for all weather lol
Get a longer rain Jacket, my favorite brand is Rains and it may be on sale
Arcteryx or REI or Patagonia for jackets
