Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. What is revenge Job Hopping?

It is a phenomenon observed when a candidate frequently jumps job in order to have a market correction to his salary.
Say person A got settled in his job for 5 years and his current salary is 7lpa..He joined at 4 lpa.
Now for his experience, he can be paid upto 30 lpa for the role.
So after switching for 13 lpa.. He keeps job hopping from 13-19 and 19-28 within a year where he finally feels he is paid adequately.

What would be yearly hike in Ericsson.. if it is 5% , does it really mean 1.5 lakh increase for a guy with 30 lpa ctc...

Joined Ericsson a year ago. Learned new things but not enough. Thinking of leaving it and join some other org. What do you think? I wanted some on-site opportunities but so far nothing.

529 Plan VERSUS Prepaid

We live in Florida and currently have a Freshman in High School and a 16 month old. We hear from our friends and family with college bound children "I wish we would have done Florida PrePaid." After obviously ignoring this for years, we are finally trying to do it before "it's too late" for both children.
