Maybe we should implement something like automatic posts refresh? I got a notification about "someone like mypost" but it isn't displaying at the post title...

Correct font and company!
just my 2 cents for everyone panicking about layoffs, partnerships probably won’t face layoffs the same way tech companies are… these tech companies stocks are getting wrecked and they have to show their shareholders they can lean down and improve or they’ll lose confidence in them and it’ll get even worse for them. unfortunate but that’s what corporations do🤷♂️
Damn. PwC is participating in the corporate platinum challenge with Delta... But there are no good Delta routes from DC. Just 6 round trip flights for Platinum...
For a lot of people in consulting, our life is a perpetual dick measuring contest. We are always worried about how much other people are making, how fast they are climbing the so called "corporate ladder". I am one of them and realizing it is pathetic and exhausting.
Is it normal to bill less hours than you work? Seems like different firms have different approaches to this?
Are the levels the same at Deloitte as they are at Accenture? This is for corporate functions, but we follow the same levels as consulting at ACN. I'm an L7 at ACN looking at an L5 position at Deloitte. Too far out of reach?
Anyone have any advice for a new hire who is so absolutely bored with the work so far. I feel like I ended up in a role where I’m not interested in and I feel like I’m going to be stuck doing this. I’m in management consulting but want to switch to strategy consulting or something more fast paced.
I currently work for another consulting firm, but I’m interested in moving back to Charlotte. Does anyone here work for the McKinsey Charlotte office?
Any consultants with inattentive ADHD?
Anyone familiar with microsoft bizops or strategy roles? If you’re willing to chat, I’d love to learn more
Folks who have exited to industry can you list you company name. Just curious what all companies are hiring.
An afternoon without meetings. Seems like a trap?
Any tips for how to get better at noticing details? My analyst just edited like 10 things in the deck that I missed (minor formatting things, but still) after jumping in for 15 minutes while I had been in there for hours. I'm not intentionally passing by them...I'm really not sure why I didn't see them. How do you all get SO detail oriented that a .05" shift stands out to you?
