One does not pick Risk, Risk picks you Audit Staff. Make Senior and you’ll understand.
I don’t understand it yet at the same time I do
If you asked me as a staff/ senior, no. Now? Yes, 100%
Yeah same here. Would life be better as a faang developer? Sure, but it ain't bad right now at all, especially with remote work
Like PWC said. I didn’t pick risk, it picked me. Was unfocused and unmotivated coming out of university and just kinda… ended up here.
So no I’d have preferred to do strategy, product, or really anything rev-side
Yup!! After eight years in this field, I can safely say that I chose the right path for me. No regrets.
Yes. Laid back job that pays well.
Definitely. I would still take the same path. Pays well and pretty laid back.
Probably not. It makes good money but I really want a pretty laid back kind of job. If given the chance I might go into tech or be a data scientist. But I am still thankful being in the Risk. I should say its better compared to any other kind of roles.
Not from where I am working. Tech I know is pretty laid back and same with data science just like what RASA1 just said.
Didn’t get offers for audit or tax in other firms but the one offer I did get was for risk. I didn’t get a choice, risk picked me
It's the only offer I got, so I've always just been glad it worked out!
Coach
No would have done consulting, more fun to make PowerPoints than take screenshots
Yes I will. I like my job right now. Actually I am having a promotion this year. At least that's what they promised.
I don't know, actually. I didn't really pick Risk. It just happened.
