If you leave before promotions (but will be promoted at the new company), can you negotiate the new company to pay your promotion bonus? I would be at the senior consultant level at the new company.

If you're getting promoted to manager, you'd get a promo bonus (7.5k), performance-based bonus (2-10%) and a raise (6-18%). Bank.

Isn't that what your signing bonus is for?

Is that ^ on top of you regular bonus? If not that seems low.

So does anyone have an answer about negotiating for a signing bonus as a senior?

^ey4, to your moms house

Is there a promo bonus for a new senior? I always thought it was a progression move not a promote

Yep, we get $5k

Are you serious that is what I got when I got promoted to mgr a few years back, shit everyone is miv

Manager promotion bonus is 7,500

Not really ey3 cut all bonus by 50% for tax, then realize we are underpaid to start with compared to the other firms then talk to your friends in industry who are reviving 6 figure bonus, then dust off resume

Where'd you go? We'll miss you so

OP, I'd think you could be able to negotiate that if they require you to leave right before a bonus is to be paid. That isn't what a signing bonus is for

EY3 even at the senior level?

I think there's a risk in doing so, but yes, I think it's decently common. I haven't personally done it, though.

Trying to negotiate your promo before getting it is tricky. Assume you'll get X% for your promo plus your base. So negotiate on that.

Do any junior/mid level associates just want to chill in their role forever?

I'm 5yoe on track for manager promotion (I took my time) at a F100.

I'm paid well, work 35 hours a week, and have no stress. A huge part of me just wants to keep this level and not continue to climb the corporate ladder any higher. The stress and hours aren't worth it at all to me.

Question to the people from faang or top product based startups and MNCs..I have around 10.5 years of experience and currently making around 45 lpa fixed + 50 lpa in stocks. This is expected to bump up to 1.1 cr total compensation by end of this month after the promotion.
I got an offer from a very good series A startup with 68 lpa cash and 0.02 percent of equity. I am fed up with the work in current organisation. Should I consider the startup ?

I’m a senior working in audit for 6 years now. Recently I felt stuck in audit where progression is slow and salary is lower compared to other service lines. I am considering to go to advisory, but not sure which strand of advisory service. Any recommendations? (Thinking of CCaSS). My main consideration is compensation (including bonus) and exit options. I can’t see myself in public practice forever!
