If you quit PwC do you lose your holiday time?

Hi All, I am working as Consultant in Deloitte USI since 3+ years and now wish to make a change.

I got an offer from BNY Mellon for 28 LPA for Senior Associate 1 position as a Backend Developer. Is BNY a good company considering I am already working as a Full Stack Dev in Deloitte ? Please help and also plz add some points related to benefits, work life balance, quality of work, etc.

Starting a new job next month, and considering taking two days off for kids’ spring break next month. Not sure whether it’s appropriate to request time off for a new job (I would’ve preferred not to take any time off for first three months). I may just be able to just ask for a single Friday off (so 1 day rather than 2 days).

Any thoughts on whether I should proceed with the request? I just came from big law and want to make sure I’m not making a bad impression on my colleagues.

Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.
