Any advice on transitioning from medical sales to tech sales. I’ve been a top performing rep (ranked first and second) two out of the last three years at my current company and was top 5% at my previous company. It sounds great, but I am worried about the disruption this industry is facing with Robo advisors and other low cost, DIY options. Hey fish, I started recently (within the last year) at post PhD level. I’m thinking about moving into pharma or biotech since I don’t think the ladder in consulting is right for me long term. How long do you need to stay in consulting for before making say 150-200k base in pharma/biotech?

Can someone explain the difference between FB’s Partner Solutions Manager and the Strategic Partner Manager? From an initial recruiter call, it seems the SPM provides the consultative product recs while the PSM onboards the client onto that product and tracks performance to provide actionable recs as needed. Anyone know career growth and salary for these two? I don’t want a sales heavy/only lateral growth role like their client solutions manager roles so these seem like good compromises?

On his website it looks like each module has a 4-day virtual class which I wouldn't be able to attend due to working full time.
