I’m a Big Law IP lit associate and I’ve applied for an in-house litigation counsel role at a tech company. I’m a 4th year and they’re looking for someone in my range to work with senior litigation counsel. I’m looking for more info about in-house lit roles, particularly in departments large enough to have a more junior litigation counsel too. Anyone made this transition or have experience with this role? My hope is maybe better balance and fewer constant nasty meet&confers. Am I delusional?

I have an experience of 6 years in Production and Application Support. I have worked as middleware administrator as well for Jboss and Weblogic.
But due to the diminishing demands of the role in IT industry , I am planning to switch my career in Devops or AWS which would help me grow.
But I am not sure without any practical knowledge, will I get a job at this many years of experience in a different profile.
Do companies hire for AWS profiles with good packages at beginners level?

I work for a small agency and manage our internal marketing acct. We had very few processes in place when I started. I’ve since created, implemented, and trained our dept. on project mgmt for clients and am trying to convince the owner to apply those principles to our internal jobs. They are resistant because they just want the work to be done and don’t “want to keep spending money on internal jobs”.
