Need some advice here. I am a fullstack developer with 5 yoe in Angular and Python. My aim is to crack FAANG companies. Now I got an offer from HSBC in a credit risk model monitoring role using Python. It is close to a data engineer role.
My question is that will it be a good idea to shift from development role to a model monitoring role if I want to move to FAANG in the future?Or does FAANG not prefer people who are not in core development roles?Amazon Microsoft Google Adobe PwC EY Citi Barclays JPMorgan Chase

Global entry
Nexus?
Nexus gets you all of the global entry and TSA pre check benefits + expedited customs when you re enter Canada.
Rising Star
Global re entry
Global Entry will get you TSA pre check by default.
Nexus
I don’t think you can do any of that w/o a green card.
MC2 - are you American?
Nexus.
I have Clear and Global Entry (so pre-check by default) I legit get through security in under 5 mins. every time.
Clear with GE or Nexus is pretty much a shortcut to the front of the precheck line. Though they aren’t in many airports so depends on your flying patterns.
Have Nexus.
I think the confusion that is cropping up in this thread is that many folks are not familiar with Nexus because they aren’t Canadian so pursue TSA pre and global entry differently.
I’m an American who chose to get Nexus. Just renewed it a few weeks ago. It’s a better solution than Global Entry but in the first application instance, requires going to a border post for interview vs. a local GE office in say Oklahoma City. But once you do it, confers more benefits than GE or Precheck for a lower fee. No brainer.
