I’m a staff accountant at anonprofit mental health center, I’m studying accounting/business and was promoted from another department/position. I’ve been in this role for about 1 year now, and with the slight exception of retail positions where I reconciled daily sales and/or cash registers, this is my only experience relating to accounting/business.
I’m wondering how likely it is that I’d be able to find a similar position without higher education? I’m in school PT for my AS BSAD/Accting focus

I’m considering taking an internal consultant role at a large healthcare company. I’m unsure if healthcare is the industry I want to be in. Would I be pigeonholing myself into that industry?

I’m four months into my job and I got put onto a PIP. I worked so hard to break into IB, put up all the hours and even working 2am nights for weeks, learned a ton, and improved a lot along the way as the sole analyst yet this happens. I've been promoted into a management role from Dev roots, so need to learn more PM processes to be an effective manager in day job, plus would like to start building my own SaaS solution.

I have been searching for job from quite a long time and all I have seeing HR/Panels asking for
1. Number of implementation projects done.
2. Work experience on S4 Hana.

And if I don't have atleast any one of these, I will not be considered.

Is it really that important ?

I was approached with another opportunity as Sr Manager Financial Reporting at a public company for $150k and 20% bonus with a clear path to director in time. 8 YOE and live in FL. I’m trying to get an idea if this is in line with market. TIA!
