It sounds great in theory, it's just never going to happen. Companies are risk averse and won't change things without good reason. Per Google, only 6% of adults in the US have been diagnosed as having ADHD. That's not a big enough number for employers to start making accommodations IMO, as nice as it would be.
I don’t know that you’ll ever see ADHD specific roles (ie you have to have ADHD to get it) because that discrimination. I do however think there are jobs / career paths that are more catered towards ADHD.
Dif career first dif work styles and personalities.
I love the idea, but you kind of have to do that yourself. Find what is best suited to you and then embrace it. There will always be something I fall short in, have to make up for it in the other areas.
Find a company that allows you to tailor the work you do to primarily align with your skill sets. Frame your ADHD in terms of the things it enables you to do well (ie crisis response, creative solutioning under pressure, etc) rather than as something that needs accommodations and build the story for how those add value for the company.
The role I’m in now was crafted with and for me to maximize my productivity for the company and it takes full advantage of our quirky brain function.
You’ll never fully get away from the tasks that are challenging but you can minimize them.
