I’m being considered for an ED role at another company with the TC 40-60% higher than my comp now. I’m very underpaid right now due to my company not giving bonuses and raises for 2 years. This company is in Chicago and I’m in nyc so the role is remote. Direct report to CISO who has been very vocal that he wants to prepare the person to take over the CISO role. I came second to a similar role in NYC with 75% more than my current TC. Will I regret taking this and not waiting for a bigger raise?

I work as a Business Development Manager at a sports club.. I’ve been given a couple of months “trial” in the 6 figure and above sales in which I don’t see going back to my other role on lower sales. One of the benefits I asked about with offer was the parental leave policy and was told (in writing by HR) 16 weeks paid after 1 year, which is as good as you can hope for in US. Now I’ve been sent the employee handbook to review/sign and it says only 12 weeks, which is less than the org I’m leaving. What might my recourses be to negotiate 16 weeks when the time comes?
