Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

Disney Streaming Services I completed my interview process with DSS early last week, and was reached out by recruiter that all rounds were strong hires, and they are extending an offer. We set a time to talk on Friday about the offer. However, the announcement of targeted hiring freeze happened on Friday. I was ghosted with no call. What should I expect now? Would I still have chance to be offered?

Are you interested in business development managerial roles or director roles? I think that that's a logical next step for someone who wants to move on from account management
Are you maybe open to freelance? You could set your own hours and work on projects that you're passionate about. You'd also be able to charge a higher rate than you would at an agency. You gotta network like crazy though.
What do you want to do?
I moved into strategy, but still within the agency world.
The other obvious move is client side. I'm in the pharma industry, so not sure if applicable outside of it, but the agency experience is a big bonus for marketing pharma roles.
I think this will really vary - I would consider going in house but I do think you need a different skillset so you should look for roles that could be useful in house like marketing etc and other functions
What industry do you work in? Is it possible to explore roles on the client side?
