If the job was listed as hybrid then I think you have accept some percentage of time in the office. I would just make sure that the percentage and conditions are understood up front. If you take the job thinking you will be at home 3-4 days a week and the HM is thinking 1-2 (with prior approval) than you are setting yourself up for a fall.
It can't hurt to ask them to clarify what they mean by 'hybrid.' For some companies, that might mean 2-3 days in the office a week. For others, it could be a trip in only once a month or quarter for a team meeting. Ask them and see what they have to say. If it's only occasional, you could probably swing it. If it's more than that, you're probably out of luck as that's what they require and expect of their employees.
You should probably have this conversation sooner rather than later. It may be more negotiable than you think
I would talk to the managers asap and see if you can work it out to be more remote than not.
Thank you all. Think I’ll ride it out and see
Hope you end up getting it! it's getting harder to deal with the hybrid stuff IMO
