All the degrees and credentials might get you in the door, but then it is all about how you present yourself to your management, peers, and clients. Are you just getting the job done or getting it done and coming up with new ideas, better ways of approaching a project or assignment? As some said, approach management about a career review and find out what you can do to get to that next level. And, quite frankly, some of it comes down to corporate politics. If it’s corporate politics, then it might be time to look elsewhere.

Read this whole thread, am a current IBMer, here are my thoughts:
BUSINESS UNIT IS KEY
It's not that IBM is a bad place to work - if you're in the right practice, you can make partner a lot faster than a comparable big 4 career track. I personally have higher comp for my specific job role than my big 4 friends, too; the issue is your business unit.
From what I'm seeing in this thread, it seems like you're in a low cost delivery center, or CiC. Are you in West Virginia, Baton Rogue, or Grand Rapids? The purpose of these offices is to provide low cost support to projects - so their entire goal is to keep salaries down. They do this not just by paying less at a given band, but by adding half-steps to bands (6a/b, 7a/b).
A CiC isn't a bad place to learn about the job and the industry- but it sounds like you've outgrown it. It'll be tough to leave, CiC holds on to people - but if you can find a partner to support your transfer and get your CiC manager to agree to it, that should get you over the 6 figure mark.
If you can't do the above (and that's very possible), it may be time to leave.
Yes, unfortunately Baton Rouge is where they have me imprisoned.
Work 4 years and you’re good
Working at IBM? That's where you went wrong
Was just about to comment this.

Jump ship.
Also, did you get hired out of MBA? I think many people get100K+ out of their MBA programs.
I've responded separately, but feel the need to plug here: OP is in a low cost delivery center - nearshoring. That is the biggest hurdle.
OP, if you start applying for other jobs, be sure to ask if the roles are associated to a "Delivery Center" - the big 4 have CiC equivalents as well.
Jump or request salary review at current company

1. Spend less energy on qualifications and certifications, more time on gaining experience and growing as a consultant
2. Don’t rely on your MBA to carry you unless it’s a Top 30 (sorry)
3. Move to a HCOL city
4. Move firm
Where is your mba from? Recruiting thru career services at your school should help
If its a small school, may not be a target school for firms. You can still apply but you have to do it more on your own on their websites etc
A lot of PMs are people with years of experience who wanted a slightly less demanding consulting path. A PM needs to command respect if vendors and executives. While PM is a skill it is not the most demanding skill to learn or maintain.
So there is a big supply of “grey hairs” with this skill and being a 24/25 year old doesn’t necessarily put you at the top of the heap.
But keep grinding. Nothing will stop you, you just need more experience or more specialization (ERP/CRM/Etc)
Not all MBA’s are equal
MBA isn’t as valuable from a non-brand school in consulting. But you need to spice your resume up to make it seem like you are leading work, to then get Senior Consultant level roles at other firms that start at 100k. What’s your location?

starting taking a cert course on automation, but have taken a course in college
What school did you get your mba from?

I think the yoe is unfortunately a factor that may get you screened out of the roles you are looking for. Did you work any internships or have other work experience during your MBA time?
IBM is a tough place to start and progress. Get out of there asap
Mba only matters if from top tier school…
