My partner resigned from his previous job and gave them 2 weeks notice. Towards the end of the first week, his stress and burn out escalated. He spoke to a therapist and agreed taking the next week off would be good for him. He told the company he would only be able to do 1 week but he'd complete everything that's needed before then. They now sent him a letter about wrongful resignation, saying they might sue. Is this even possible? What should he do?

I know I'm in the minority here (and I swear this isn't a brag) but is anyone else less stressed this busy season working from home, and finding issues focusing because of it? My work is getting done, but just very very slowly. I'm able to sleep throughout the night and not wake up early (which is a huge negative right now) and literally feel no need to stay glued to my computer as in prior years. Am I broken?

Trigger: rare illness post birth

Just sharing that I was diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia 3 days after giving birth despite not having risk factors or preeclampsia in my pregnancy. Sharing as I had absolutely no idea about this illness.

Main things to do are check your BP everyday at least the first ten days after you give birth, and go to hospital if it's very high (over 160/110). If you get severe headache or stomach ache then also be vigilant.

My manager feeds me 100 chole bhature & then my tummy hurts so I ask her to give me a leave but then she declines my request and feeds me 1 more plate of chole bhature then I die because of excess gas formation inside my stomach, then I poop & become alive once again then my boss notices that im alive again and feeds me 109 plates of kadi chawal and this goes on and on and on and on

Does anyone have a therapist in the LA area that they recommend? Specifically someone who is familiar with these types of jobs. Obviously everyone’s doing telehealth for now but would be great if you could also say where they’re located.
