Is ABV worth getting? How hard is the exam and how long do I have to prepare for it? Already have my CPA, CFE

I’m in the exact same spot as you and just started studying. It’s harder than I expected tbh, I thought it was going to be similar to the CFE where I just fly through it and it’s not the case. Have not taken an exam yet though

I am literally figuring out when I want to start studying for this as well. And it can’t be as hard as the CPA

Hello, Partners. Can anyone recommend fantastic courses, videos or training for a new manager like myself? I’ve come from a tech background and looking to be C-Suite

For the people who went back to school to pursue a totally different career, what did you do for work? I don’t think I’d be able to do both my current job and school. I did retail in college and that probably isn’t so smart right now. Neither is working at a restaurant. I don’t think I can go back and live with my parents. I feel like I’m stuck.

Please who knows about the advisory practice within the PwC financial crime unit (Canada Acceleration Centre)? I understand it is a client non-facing advisory role. Would it be a good career decision for someone coming from GRC firms like Kroll, Control Risk or Exiger? I am concerned about the negative reviews relating to the PwC acceleration centres in general, and getting stuck in a role which does not provide growth opportunities. Thank you.

I was wondering if the review course “CPE Self Study Course” for the CFF was enough preparation to study and pass the CFF exam. The CFE review course was enough and like if you get a question wrong it explains it well so that when it comes up in a different way in the real exam you can still get it. But when I saw the outline for the CFF material and there seems to be a lot of topics so I was wondering if the review course was sufficient considering this exam is also multiple choice. Thanks!
