Is it a bad idea to reach out to one of the hiring managers to ask about the hiring process that I interviewed with / instead of waiting to hear back from the recruiters? i have had 2 interviews and still have been asked to wait by the recruiters. It has been around 2 weeks I haven’t received a feedback. I want to show my enthusiasm to the hiring managers is all.

Call the recruiter and ask if they have heard anything from the hiring manager for that job. If the recruiter says, "They haven't gotten back to me," tell him to please call to get an update. Your time is as valuable as theirs, and you need to know if there is a job offer pending or you need to push harder in another direction. Give the recruiter another week to do his job and serve his client (you). At that point, his feelings be hanged, call the hiring manager yourself. The recruiter may be upset that you leap-frogged him, but at some point you have to poo-poo or get off the potty (parent of a toddler).

Not a bad idea. In fact it could even work in your favor! It shows initiative and genuine interest in the role, which are qualities that hiring managers often appreciate. That being said, it's always a good idea to tread carefully and be respectful of the process. You don't want to come across as pushy or impatient, so keep your message polite and professional, and frame it as a simple inquiry about the status of your application.

Considering a Product Owner role. Any best practices of what questions to ask during an interview? First phase deals with a virtual Teams interview with the recruiter and her manager on Tuesday. Excited since this is a hop from a Product Analyst role and entails an offer of over $30,000 from what I'm getting now! This would be a permanent full-time compared to my current contractor role that ends in March.

Hello everyone,

I wanted to know how long does Course5i take to release an offer, I cleared all rounds last friday and was going to get an offer from HR early this week (by Monday evening or Tuesday) but didn’t get any offer till now.

I loved the role and I am still excited to join the organisation so mailed a follow up to the HR yesterday but did not get any response till now. I do not want to follow up for the next 1-2 days since I feel it would be too pushy from my end.

Have an offer from a dream company but I'll need to go in at a lower level. Knowing that I can bring a lot of value to the company (read- I know my worth), I negotiated with the hiring manager to have a level/comp review 6 months after employment. If I hit all my goals (ie, prove myself) within that time frame, I'll get a promotion and salary adjustment.
QUESTIONS:
Should this be in writing in the offer letter?
How detailed should it be? I assume I won't know what goals to set till I start...

I got an offer at Meta as a 3-mo contingent CSM that pays 2x what I make now.

Two pros: 1) Making the jump from a non-tech agency role to FAANG can be tough, so this is a great oppo in that aspect.
2) I'm living in SF on a non-tech salary, so the pay increase would be incredible.

It’s possible I could move into a similar role @ Meta once this expires, but to be safe, I'd need to start the job hunt again asap.

Thoughts on the pivot & how valuable a short-stint at Meta is for future job hunt?
