Is it possible to go into menopause at 31?
All of the symptoms you've all described I've had and previously labeled as PMDD, except I have regular periods.

As a teen/young adult I used to have a heavy flow for many days, and dysmenorrhea. Now I have a 4ish day period, heavy 2 maybe 3 days.

how can you get 'tested' for early onset menopause? 31, single, no kids.

Menopause usually occurs at ages 40 plus and some or all of the below symptoms can be felt. Hot flashes and/or night sweats, Insomnia, Fatigue, lack of energy, Moodiness or irritability, Poor memory/fuzzy thinking, Weight gain, especially around the middle or thigh area, Low libido and Vaginal dryness, Irregular periods before menstruation stops completely, Palpitations, Urinary incontinence, frequency or urgency, Urinary tract infections, Skin changes (increased wrinkling or dryness) and finally Hair issues.

But at early 30s you couldn’t possibly be getting in menopause at worst you might have hormonal imbalance due to some other issues. As others have noted please schedule gynecologist appointment at the earliest. Do not ignore, please. In the interim do moderate exercise, eat healthy, drink plenty fluid, sleep well and do not worry too much! Sending you positive vibes dear!

My OB and I confirmed I began perimenopause at age 30. It is very possible and has nothing to do with age.

Have you talked to your doctor? Maybe a second opinion or find a specialist?

Regular periods can and do occur with PMDD. I have PMDD and my cycles are like clockwork and always have been. Early onset menopause would mean that your cycles are getting longer with periods farther apart. Your estrogen levels would be dropping. Only your OBGYN or Primary Care doctor can determine if you have early onset menopause.

Could it be PCOS?

Hi ladies, I'm in my mid 40s and I think I'm entering peri. I currently have a Mirena but I should replace it again soon, but one more will put me into my 50s(!!) and I was wondering if anyone here knows that they're in peri or menopause without having periods. Is there blood work or something to check? I definitely do not want to have another child accidentally. I've got 5 more years until my youngest is in college and don't want to start over again.

Just downloaded an App called MenoLife. It’s free (so far) and is filled with articles, recipes, trackers, etc. they also have products which I may look into. Anyone else try this brand?
