If anything I think the hotel is safer, only because I feel like from an organizational standpoint they can't afford to not be hygienic.
I think airbnb is still safer than hotel. I would suggest you ask the host whether he/she follows the Covid protocol which blocks one day before your stay and one day after your stay. So that way you will know that the apartment is at least vacant for 24 hours
You might die from the cleaning fee and service charge first
Another thing I don’t feel safe about hotel is their central air...
I think all Airbnb’s have cleaners come through after each guest stays. The cleaning fee is part of your cost. And hotels definitely have daily cleaning service.
So either way, you should be fine. I wouldn’t worry so much about the place. More about the people you’ll be around.
Hotel is safer because it’s professionally disinfected.
You will be fine. Getting Corona by touching a surface more than 24 hours after someone with Corona touches is extremely unlikely
