Is PTO in industry as good as PTO in consulting? Thinking of exiting but worries PTO is harder to justify and protect in industry vs consulting. Despite the hours and terrible work life balance - PTO at McKinsey is sacred - have taken untirreputed 1 month breaks every year that have allowed me to travel back to India. Wondering if it’s the same in industry or not. For context have all my family back in India so getting that time to see them is crucial for me

If you do billable work on a given PTO/vacation day, do you still count that day as vacation? Or do you get that vacation day "back"? Or do you only get the part that you billed "back"? (Or some other option.)

1. Is it wise to take 2 plans of term insurance one with return of 60 years and another without return of 80 years of each 1cr.

Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary.
