Passed on my first try but did find it tricky. Most of the correct answers are based strictly on the literature and occasionally contrary to how it would play out in the real world. I took a 4-week online course but I think you’re fine just taking tons of practice exams. My previous company paid for everything.
Not hard. Watch a lot YouTube videos, starting with high level overviews and work your way down to example question videos. Listen to them whenever you can, even passively.
Good PMP content creators: Ricardo Vargas, Aileen Ellis, PM Master Prep.
Most importantly, aim to complete at least 1000 practice questions. I used PM Prepcast and thought it was worth the price. I crammed for about 2.5 weeks, 2-3 hours a day before/after work, not including weekends. Overall cost: $125 for PM Prepcast and $16 for a Udemy course by Joseph Phillips (obviously not including test fees). I passively worked my way through the course for the PDUs.
Disclaimer: I took the exam a couple of years ago before they switched to the new exam, but this info should still be relevant.
