Sorry I can’t comment on Mounjaro.
Have you tried intermittent fasting? Cutting out breakfast helped me a lot. Also removed alcohol and added sugar (was shocked to see sugar hiding in so many things). Learned a lot from Glucose Goddess on IG too about the order in which I should eat things. Lastly, adding a morning walk and getting 5-10k steps per day got me to my goal
I’ll check that out to learn more but what do you mean order of eating things? Like eat some food first?
Slower weight loss may have a positive, less loose skin. Keep at it.
I've had great results with Mounjaro, but needed to lose about 80, not 40. Have been maintaining about a year now on the 15mg dose.
Coach
I’ve been on ozempic for 10 months, lost 45 pounds over first 6 months and staying on the maintenance dose within the last 4 months maintaining the same weight.
It’s not about the type of GLP-1 (ozempic vs mounjaro), it’s strictly about your calorie count. If you aren’t seeing change you’re consuming as much calories as you’re using, so either increase your exercise or reduce your calories. Ozempic lets you decrease your calories pretty easily. What is your current dosage? Maybe you can just increase it by 25 mg and eat less?
I felt like symptoms and side effects were better managed when I switched from ozempic to mounjaro. I had minimal weight loss on ozempic but mounjaro has been more consistent!
Mounjaro is proven to be more effective but it hasn’t been studied in people with a healthy BMI.
It has taken me six months to lose 20 pounds on a Simpich. I really didn't start to see the difference until I gradually moved up to the 2.0 dosage. How has this been for everyone else? I feel like based on the results, I keep hearing, people are losing weight much quicker than that and higher amounts of weight.
