My firm’s IT (especially system saving and file locating function) is so bad 😐😞 and they keep doing updates no one asked them for just to mess with the stuff we already got a hang of without doing anything about the issues we actually need fixed. Thoughts on leaving PA primarily due to the metrics based culture (utilization, dtc, use of X digital tool, revenue, margin, etc). Attempting to leave my current job for an opportunity that allows me to work, but doesn’t limit my ability to do some consulting on my own. I have an opportunity I’ve been presented but I’m fairly new at the negotiation game. How do you guys negotiate without insulting your potential opportunity provider?

Accounting advisory big4 or IA at F100. Both senior roles. Roughly same base pay.

Big4 has clear trajectory and interesting work.

F100 has 14% bonus, perm remote, and immediate vesting 401k over 7%.

What would you take?
