138k as an ACD in San Francisco - too low?
Hi all,
I’m looking to relocate to Seattle. Does anyone know if any of the Big 4 are still recruiting campus hires to start in Summer/Fall 2023? I’m open to either Audit or Tax, but I have internship experience in Tax.
I applied and received an offer at a Big 4 in San Francisco (campus hire), but I’ve decided Seattle is the better fit for me as it will be closer to my hometown and family in Vancouver.
Thanks!

just keep the branding subtle… no belts with the giant GG logo or anything ridiculous like that
If the branding is subtle, 95% of people won’t be able to tell whether your outfit cost $500 or $5,000. They’ll just notice you look nice.
Designer clothes, at any price range, doesn’t necessarily = look nice.
RSM my dad always. A gentleman should have a subtle shine. That advice has always helped me when I dress. Wear designer items that speak high quality, but likr everyone said, nothing flashy.
True RSM is the OP!
No one really notices, except people who also wear the labels. If that's your flex, go for it.
Not necessarily true.
Rolex on my wrist all day. Don’t care
Not allowed to wear these fancy dresses in india 😤😤😭
Somewhat. I commute in NYC and wear a Burberry trench as a top layer most days. I’m sure I get some looks, but it made more sense to buy something I really liked and that would last for some time.

burberry trench is an understated classic, always appropriate
I just feel weird wearing designer stuff, period. Lots of other things I’d rather spend money on. But if that’s your thing as long as it doesn’t look ridiculous, go ahead.
I’ve worked with 2 people who wore pretty expensive clothes. One of them didn’t even wear the same thing twice. To be honest, I and many more people only realized those things were pretty expensed because they talked about it or another person who knew about brands mentioned.
Nope. That said, I never wear anything flashy (to the office or otherwise) because that’s just not my cup of tea.
