Should you get paid more to go into the office?
10/06 Thread (BC):
Hi Deloitte fishes,
I received my pre-hire survey Oct 21(Fri) but my bank KYC is not verified yet. I just submitted my bank KYC in EPFO portal. Now my query is do I need to wait till my KYC is verified in EPF portal? Or can I submit the survey with attaching a note: As Submitted KYC and pending verification.
P. S: As there are Diwali holidays,I am worry about my KYC verification will get delayed. And could anyone tell within how manys days or any deadline to submit the Pre-hire Survey.

I like how you think... but thou shalt not covet your neighbor's heated driveway... or something like that.

I do not even play the lottery, but I am prepared anyway. I feel like my odds of happening to find a winning ticket are about the same as actually playing haha.
I'm flying to Italy lol, I want to see Venice before it sinks. Then I want to go to Japan, and finally, I'll take my niece and nephews to Disney World lol. I guess I'm not good with money haha.
Go to Disney first because once you go to Japan and Italy, you won’t wanna come back to this💩hole!

Honestly? I’d do something wildly impractical but joyful 😄
I’d build a ridiculously over-engineered home studio—top-tier instruments, vintage mics, absurd acoustic treatment—just to spend weeks making music no one asked for at 3 a.m. Then I’d hire a small orchestra for one day… to record a single dramatic intro for a song that’s only two minutes long.
After that, I’d probably do something delightfully unnecessary like rent out an entire movie theater just to watch my favorite films alone with unlimited popcorn, or take a spontaneous trip purely to eat one specific dish from one specific place.
Nothing life-changing or reckless—just moments that make you laugh later and say, “Yeah… that was totally unnecessary, but absolutely worth it.”
Maybe I should appreciate my wildly absurd life🤔 I’m always doing crazy stuff like this or my husband is .. between the both of us I’m always worried that we’re not saving for retirement.

I'd pay off my debt and quit my job lol. If that's too practical I'd build a big shop with car lifts and kit it out with all the tools I'd need then build a dirt track around our property to race on.
