I have interview scheduled and completed from Commonwealth Bank Bangalore location. All technical rounds cleared.
When I called HR i got a surprise answer..
They mentioned the position which I have intervied is different than the salary rem ranges. And my current salary is higher than position what they have got and asked for approval for rem ranges changes..
Is any one faced this? Ideally HR should know expectation and allocation before scheduling intervjew..
I am bit confused with commonwealt

I applied 8 times and interviewed twice over the course of 7 years before getting an offer! Some would say that’s crazy, but you sound more like me.
Set your mind on a goal and work towards it no matter what anyone tells you.
I don’t know what the rules are on how often you can apply but I would re-apply whenever you have new experience to add to your story (a promotion, an accomplishment, a new job, a new degree, etc.).
I applied one time and interviewed once. You got this OP 👏
Chill fam, it's a tough market rn. In London, it's usually a year before re-applying. Not sure where you're based but I'd imagine it'd be similar.

Usually at least a year. You need to be able to add something meaningful to your resume which shows you’ve grown and might be more successful in interviews. Applying with the same resume wouldn’t be good.
Why would you want to be part of a culture that doesn't fit you?
K1 - while I broadly agree with you, ‘fit’ in this context could mean 100s of things. If you really want to do something, you won’t give up just because you failed in your first attempt.
OP - to answer your question, it is typically 1-2 years. Could probably be waived if you have pull from a partner/senior partner
