Just moved to my new San Francisco home this past weekend and the weather was extremely warm and thinking of buying an A/C. Does this kind of weather last year round or this is the exception?

Another FYI, my home has 2 rooms facing south so it gets so much sun light too.

Is it actually in SF, or in east bay/penninsula? If in the city, very rarely will the temperature exceed 70, let alone the usual mid 60’s. I was at my place in the city, I believe Labor Day 2017 where it actually was triple digits that entire weekend. Still haven’t even thought about an A/C, but always keep a tower fan if needed.

Mark Twain said the coldest winter he ever spent was a summer in San Francisco

Pros:

- fairly decent place to work (from someone who worked with the Vancouver and San Jose offices). never met a blue badger (permanent employee) who had awful things to say.

- Ashley Goodall (their SVP, Methods & Intelligence) co-authored a brilliant book on leadership and people management called “Nine Lies About Work” that makes me believe they can be an awesome place to work

Cons:

- red badgers had low morale since they’re contract workers and can be terminated at any time

Would you recommend Sedona during Christmas or San Diego during Christmas with a 1.5 year old? Entertainment, safety, meaningful experience-focused.

Sedona will be much colder, possibly snowing/icy and will be hiking, hot tub, enjoying the scenery focused. San Diego will be beach, enjoying scenery focused. Both Airbnb options look beautiful. Will also have 60 year old grandparents joining

Looking for potential roles in PDX. Posting a redacted resume. The heading on this resume is for customer solutions professional, but I am also really great with data entry and very tech savvy. I am also taking classes in python. Something in the greater PDX area would be strongly preferable since I don't have a car (I do have a driver's license, just to clarify) unless the work is within a reasonable commute. I also have a lot healthcare experience. Ping me!
