Just returned to the office and have decided that someone should do a study on the correlation between job title and voice loudness.

I'm curious if ALL salespeople have distracting loud voices, or just the ones who work in my building and have meetings in my work area.

No, it’s not just your company. One of my marketing managers is holding a grudge that he didn’t get an office when he came to work so he is trying to force the issue by being very, very loud on ALL of his teams calls. I’ve asked him to step into a conference room for his calls but he refuses. He’s so rude.

I got an offer with a standard chartered Bank after i rejoined cognizant. Pay is the same but SCB offers me an association manager.

The thing is I just joined cognizant 15 days back for the same project with the same roles and responsibilities.

In cognizant night Shift i don't like it.
In a standard chartered day shift.

If I resign I would have a problem in future on bgv? Because my previous experience 1 year with cognizant.

I had given Accenture interview on 5th March and on the same day got an email that I cleared the round then salary discussion also happened. But then they didn't release the offer. In the portal status went to " owing to business reasons we foresee some delay in processing your candidature". Also then after multiple followups got an update from HR that they don't have any requirements for the position. Now it's been more than a month what should I do ? Any suggestions would definitely help.

Is it me or does the newer generation value more intangible things that aren’t easily measured like work-life balance, fulfillment and purpose in work. Which makes it difficult for firms because that’s not something that is easily measured. Also, this is why there is “value” in crypto, NFTs and the metaverse. It’s a clash of the generations that value tangible things like money, houses, cars and one that values time, experiences, personal online image. Thoughts?

I was just involved in a Teams meeting where it was announced that leadership is now creating a hybrid model. They clearly stated we will not be returning to the office that we left in 3/2020. This was shocking to me! Earliest back in office now set for Oct. More info to come. I was working from home 2 days a week pre covid, so we'll see what happens. I am in MN.

Hi everyone! I’m an EA for a Property Management company, I wanted to get your opinion on a situation. We have an office manager, who is in charge of greeting clients and anybody who walks through the doors, returning of keys, etc., our office manager wants to work a hybrid schedule and we are not opposed to it as long as we can ensure client satisfaction and that the office is orderly. Has anybody been able to make this work?
