Let’s say you have two young, high income partners in a couple who want to buy a house together but don’t really care to get married. They already live together in an apartment but both want to move to a house to build equity and have a yard, not share walls, etc. Should one partner buy the house and the other pays rent until they get married, or should they get a mortgage together without being married? Hey fishes. I have been offered Management Consultant role with CTC break up in terms of JB, RB, fixed and variable. So is the fixed amount my gross salary without any other deduction except TDS, or will the organisation contribution to PF be also deducted from the fixed component? But the work does not appeal to me, I’ve been doing some of it and it’s so much admin and people management. I’m not practicing law at all. Love my current IC role and manager, get to work on strategic transactions and closer to the business. If my goal is head of corp legal one day, should I suck it up and go for it? Thnx!

Need to know how much % would generally be paid out? Is it 100% or less as per the individual/organization performance.

Hi-I have 120K in cash in HYSA. After keeping emergency fund aside. Still have 75-80K available that I plan to invest. After 401k, HSA, IRA and monthly expenses: we are left with 6K every month. So investing 12K every month in market. My worry is with that rate - it will take us 12-14 months to move the extra 75-80K mentioned above. However do not want to make a bulk move. I paid off all my debt (mostly student loans) earlier this year and haven’t changed my spending or lifestyle and the savings have been piling up. It’s getting addicting just watching it jump up after every paycheck. Feels amazing to no longer be in crippling debt and finally move on with my life.

Futures are crashing....with the fed slashing rates, I thought that would have the opposite outcome? I don’t fully understand the impact of that but I thought the market would be positive to that.
