I dint feel happy when my bf proposed me for marriage.. i am not able to understand why..he is very nice guy, we have been dating for almost 4 years but honestly, in these 4 years, i never had that butterflies feelings with him never ever. Its just that we are comfortable with each other as a person thats it and we started dating.

Today is my first day back at work (and first full day back in my physical office) after a few weeks off for parental leave. Needless to say, I am struggling to stay focused on anything other than wanting to go back home to my spouse and child.

I know I shouldn't take an emotional temperature on day one, but it has been more difficult being back than I anticipated. Any tips for navigating the waters for the first day/week/month back?

Anyone have any similar experience or insight? My boyfriend asked for space/not really together anymore and he says he started to become nervous about being in a long term committed relationship. Even tho he said he saw me as long term & I’m his best friend and he loves me but why then? Does space help you guys figure it out? (Help / advice please😞)

Been seeing a guy for a few months now and I can’t stop myself from getting in my head. I’ve never been in a solid relationship before like this and I’m afraid I’m going to mess it up. We’re together most nights and some nights I need a night off or some space, but when I don’t hear from him I get paranoid that I did something.
I don’t know how to just let things be and feel we’re as good as I know we are.

Has anyone lost their best friend (i.e. through time/growing up) and feel like none of their current friends could live up to the fun/connection you used to have with your high school BFF? Anyone with anxious attachment tendencies? Going through a breakup and I keep thinking about how I pushed him away and then am down on myself, replaying memories in my mind. At the end of the day, I think we were a bad match from the beginning and misaligned, but so hard not to beat myself over my anxious attachment during my relationship

People that have small children - how do you deal with your child’s stress and separation anxiety when you go to work? My 4-year old goes berserk almost every day at some point relating to me having to work. The worst part is that I’ve been working from home bc of Covid and I’m literally just walking upstairs after giving hugs and kisses and saying see you soon 800 times. My spouse is a stay at home parent, but that doesn’t seem to matter to my son. A piece of me dies everyday because of this.
