I received an offer from big 4 with 60% hike. My managers wants to retain and I asked them to match if you want me to be retained.
Now I got a call from GPM yesterday. He used harsh words like "being greedy" "selfish" etc and offered me 30% in the end.
I politely declined but he asked me to reconsider as he said "it would be unfair for the org for you to leave so soon."

Let me know a proper response.

I am considering an offer for an AE role (UK-LDN) where the base is £42k & OTE is £70k. The Regional GM has verbally promised to move it up to £50k base if I perform well during the probationary period, but I can’t have it in writing on the contract. Hello I just started my first job (I’m 22) and I need to set up a 401k for matching with my company. I’m really confused how this works because I want to try to hit the IRS maximum of $19,500 for Roth contributions this year. Maybe it’s too late in the year now, but it’s asking me to pick my desired contribution % per pay period, but I’m not sure how much to do because it says it’ll kick in 1-2 pay cycles and I don’t even know when the next pay check comes yet. Any tips would be great

I paid off all my debt (mostly student loans) earlier this year and haven’t changed my spending or lifestyle and the savings have been piling up. It’s getting addicting just watching it jump up after every paycheck. Feels amazing to no longer be in crippling debt and finally move on with my life.

Why would you ever want to rollover your 401K into an IRA? It seems like doing so would essentially prevent you from successfully being able to do a IRA to Backdoor Roth IRA conversion due to the pro-rata rule. Am I missing something? Wouldn’t you always want to just rollover your old 401Ks to your new 401K?

Took a lump-sum pension payout from my last employer and looking to deposit the amount into an IRA account at Fidelity. Hoping this knowledgeable community can guide with couple of questions I have:
1. What kind of IRA should I open at Fidelity - i) Rollover IRA or ii) Traditional IRA?
