Looking to possibly shift careers. I have a referral at Deloitte and Goldman Sachs. I know they’re both different and reputable but are they good companies to work for with a decent work life balance? Any thoughts on best positions to start on that may not be extremely entry level?

Thermo Fisher for Data Engineer in AWS and Python and Ameriprise as Lead Developer for Informatica Powercenter. Ameriprise is offering 50k more in my monthly salary than Thermo Fisher. Pivoting away from Sales: I’ve been in sales positions for 15 years, and I’m just exhausted by the role (disputing commissions, arguing about deals, all of it).
