I stopped bleaching my hair after my bangs completely broke off back to the roots. Horrifying. I finally found a more qualified beautician who knows how to use color to lighten. I love my hair now.
Senior Software Engineer 1, I wore a baseball cap whenever I could. Had to try restyling until it grew out. Found a new hairdresser right away. Definitely bad situation to find myself in.
I had a Kevin Murphy + ola Plex treatment done in India. It was fabulous. Going to find a place here in the US and try to do it every month
Love it for my hair! Keratin didn’t work on my hair. It was still curly. Magic sleek is the only thing that allows my hair to be straight and frizz here. I airdry my hair and it is straight! Life changing! You have to find someone that does it well and takes their time though or or it won’t work.
Olaplex has become a fast favorite treatment of mine, it definitely helps repair damage from heat etc and I think you'll see some really good results if you do it!
I had my last Magic Sleek treatment 5 months ago and oh my goodness my hair still looks and feels great! This treatment alone cut my costs in half.
Maybe you can get an olaplex treatment. I heard they're great for repairing every type of damage like chemical, mechanical, and even sun damage. It's been proven to relink broken bonds.
What's Magic Sleek? Never really had my Asian hair chemically treated before. What's that for? Really curious to know.
It’s a permanent hair relaxer that’s not supposed to damage the hair and does not contain formaldehyde
Reason why I let the professionals do my hair. Did a terrible thing once so I have to SHAVE my hair. Not juts cut, but shave my hair for what I did.
What happened to your hair that you have to shave it off? It must be really nasty, isn't it? I don't want to get to that point though so I am not risking it. I will just let the salon do the job.
Me and my friend tried this. She has frizzy hair and I had straight hair. We literally got different results. So we researched about it and one article said it really doesn't have the same effect with frizzy and damaged hair.
I have had so much treatment done to my hair. I really regret how I just do every hair trend before. But thank heavens for Magic Sleek! My hair feels healthier now!
Not sure if it really worked on me or if I'm doing anything wrong with the after-care. But nothing much has changed? I'm pretty sure I'm going to see results instantly but why?? Is this normal?
You should see results immediately maybe the salon did not do it correctly
I have interviewed quite a few people who have had the Magic Sleek treatment done to their hair. To be honest, I'm quite unsure about it. But 8 of 10 women I've interviewed have told me good thing about it.
How did you find so many people who have done it? Everyone I’ve asked has never heard of it
Is the Magic Sleek treatment similar to hair rebonding treatment? Can anybody who's had this share their experience? My coworker has been talking me into getting this done to my hair.
Magic sleek or hair rebonding ? They are not the same. Magic sleek is some heat activated deep conditioning treatment to relax your hair. Some people say it is permanent and some say it lasts a few months so I’m not sure who’s telling the truth
