I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

An amendment takes 30-90 days, how would you do it 4 times a year? Folks would never do any work...
I dont think KPMG does this too
Of course not
So, you just move onto your next client project without any amendment ... that is f-ing awesome. I had to decline 2 projects innthe last 3 months due to this issue
The rule apparently is that we can be deployed once the amendment is filed ... it takes about 14 days .... even with that, it is a pain in the ass. Good to know you guys dont do it at all.
Too big a risk - if USCIS conducts a site visit, and the LCA for the new assignment is not approved, then the person and the company gets penalized for not abiding by the policy. Ergo, Deloitte's concern is valid.
Nobody cares about it PwC. The rule on what counts as "working outside home office" is too vague for Mon-Thu travelers, and is clearly applicable only for people permanently stationed at client sites (like the coders doing ERP implementation )
