@D1: former Deloitter who left earlier this year for Google - would say we can reach out to alumni for chats about exit ops, but we don’t have a structured program ... at MBB, they get 2-3 months of full pay to job search - at Analyst and above levels.
@K1: ah okay, I guess I didn’t hear about it then. Think it’s fair to say that it’s not as broad reaching / openly publicized to all D folk (as you mention it’s only for select groups) vs. MBB I hear they let you know of this perk Day 1 ...
Really? Never heard of that at P
Because then they will hire MBB.
PwC does that.
Deloitte does as well.
G1 — Deloitte has the Seeker program which does the same thing, at least in Consulting
at Accenture there is a program to support people as they look for new jobs. But it isn’t something that is give to everyone and is not publicized
To be fair, the Seeker program is only M and above, is not well publicized (probably on purpose?), and requires one to be accepted into it (whatever that means). Also not sure what stigma there is when ppl can see you're still technically employed for those two months but basically have given your FU to the firm.
@D2 you know there are plenty of reasons someone may have for leaving that aren't, "giving a bit fu to the firm," right?
Coffee is for closers
Lol EY2, you’re right, then that’s not a “program” and more like personal network. Laughable.
We have a program that allows you to do that as well. Fantastic program to have - healthy mentality for any company.
@google1 Deloitte does have that as well for some areas
Yes PwC does it very seriously and also push them into Industry so that they have made relationship.
@D folk (but really D2): that’s exactly my point - Seeker exists, but it isn’t heavily publicized and is only M or above. just not a comparable offering to what MBB has - which is available to all (BA and above) and is widely publicized.
We do that at EY and have placed a number of our folks at clients. It is not a formal program and you basically need to have a good relationship with a Partner, so they can pull on their internal connections and those can reach out to clients. That said, it is getting better and “friend of the firm” track is at least being discussed.
@Accenture 2 what is this program ?
Anyone know anything like this for EY?
EY does at SM level when you’re not going to make PPED. Also not widely publicized nor open to everyone
