Breaks can be helpful, to rekindle the positive feelings and to allow the hurtful ones to dissipate. But you have to still stay in contact while supporting each other. Is there anything you can do to make him forgive you? Have you tried counseling?
I think its because the hurt has been over a long period of time. He says I am too inconsiderate
Unlikely to work out
Idk what to do because I’m not happy about this break and feel it only brings us further apart. However he insists its either a break or a divorce. If I stand my ground with insisting this break is not the way to go, he’ll leave for a sure. Now what?
That’s what narcissists like yourself do and feel, enjoy the break 😂😂
it all depends what was the mistake ... if it was about you having relationship with another man, I would not come back ... if not, then it depends on the depth of love in your relationship, if ur relationship had more beautiful moments than bad ones, he might want to come back .. else it might go the other way .. a break will prove decisive, it will make or break the relationship depends on above ..

It really depends what you did, and, without context, you won't get super helpful advice.
Great, Leave him in peace and find another to hurt
I hate to say it but I have never seen a break work out. That is not to say it won't but I would suggest going to couples therapy. Its unlikely things will get better without some intense therapy sessions.
He doesn’t want to go to therapy and says he wants the break to figure out if he wants to try again.
If you’d cheated on him, as a male I don’t think I’d need a break. I’d want a divorce unless there’s kids involved. If there’s no kids and I want a break, then it’d mean I’m trying to get with some other chick and will dump you when I find one. Since you say it’s your fault I’m assuming he hasn’t done anything wrong. Why do you want to stay with him still? Have you shown him that you’ve changed? Breaks won’t work in this situation. Good luck. I hope both of you find peace.
If he has found someone this will be a permanent break. Unless he's waiting to see if it works out and keeping you on standby. No communication doesn't bode well for you.
Dm me
Pros soy not going to work out. Maybe try to look at what you did and forgive yourself but also learn from it.
Break will make you more apart better to talk to each other and clarify why you need him how much you love him. It also depends why he needs break. U can DM so that I can give better advice.
Something should have happened that made him angry as you said it was your fault and how are you guys doing this break thing? Living separately?
Can we get some details in here so we can actually give you some constructive feedback? A summary even?
Did you cheat on your spouse? If yes, the break is another term for divorce. You will be lucky if they forgive you.
Would love to hear more and exchange stories I myself am in the same boat.
