I am currently interviewing at TikTok for the Content Partnerships Lead role. Can anyone share some insight into the salary bands in the Sub-Saharan African market? Should I benchmark with the global rates?
Any tips and experiences interviewing in this region are also welcome - and highly appreciated! :)

Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??
Netcracker Technology Corp. I recently gave interview for the Netcracker Technol.During the initial calls they confirmed my current salary and expected salary. Then they proceeded with the technical rounds and finally HR round was also cleared. They asked me to wait for the offer letter as they required approval from business. After a week when I got no updates on the offer letter i texted them asking about the same. They replied me on the text that the business did not gave approval for the offer. TBC in comment section..

You can teach the technical skills that are required, but if someone is a bad fit or has bad attitude that is much harder to fix, so I would focus on that.
Ask them about a cool tool or technique to analyze data they may have used or read about recently.
A good data analyst is someone who cares or finds the subject interesting

Agree with the project deep dive approach.
Even if you don’t know what they did have them eli5 it for you. If they can’t do that with you they won’t be able to do it for stakeholders. Any model they bring up make them explain it. Find out where their knowledge stops on that front.
Do they know what is on their resume or is it padded for the position. A trivial gotcha question. What is your favorite package in language X. Or what is a p-value, Simple things a nervous person who knows there stuff can answer and break the ice with but someone padding their skills will blunder.
I just ask people about what’s on their resume. It’s incredible how many times people have put buzzwords on their resume and can’t speak to them at all.

Can’t agree more! So many such cases I have seen.
Just have a conversation and feel it out if they were a member in your firm would they enjoy it. Also try to sense if they are legitimately interested in the role/company, or is just applying because they want a job at somewhere famous.

If it’s Technical assessment, then ask them to discuss any project and deep dive into every bit of that project. So much clarity you would get on their thought process, considerations and choices they make as well as the why behind it.
Ask them what role are they known for on their teams and what role they prefer to play on their team that adds value. Ask them about a hypothetical situation you've had involving conflict and how they would navigate. Ask them about what they do for fun and to teach you something small about their hobby - compare the level of proficiency explaining a hobby to the level of proficiency explaining something on their resume
