Rates are only going to climb. I can see them easily get to 9-10% before inflation is under control. You can roll the dice but we will all look back on this time period and marvel at how “low” rates are today
No one’s sure about rates but logic will hold that you must assume the worst with interest rates. If you’re wrong, it doesn’t matter because you can just refinance at the lower rate later.
But if you’re right and rates rise sky high, you prepared today for the worst case scenario and locked down the lowest rate possible today.
But yes, I invest in real estate
In this market, there's no real reason not to lock in. Rates can easily go either way, depending on the economy. Down, you refi, up, you're set.
